We are very privileged to have Santa visit Silver End on the last Sunday before Christmas Eve every year. He has been visiting the streets and waving to the girls and boys, mums and dads and grandparents for many many years. Everyone in the village knows Christmas Day is close when they see the big man being pulled around the village on his sleigh. He is assisted on the night by the Scout Group and the music is supplied by Meridian Roadshows.
It is always fantastic to bring some festive cheer to the village. So look out for Santa on Sunday 22nd December and give him a wave. You can check the route and where about he currently is on this website. He will start his journey in Silver Street at 3pm approximately.
There will be people with collection buckets walking around with Santa. A percentage of the money raised goes to the village Scout Group and for the rest will be donated to another nominated Charity. For 2025 the nominated charity will be Essex & Herts Air Ambulance. You can also donate online by clicking the image below or scanning the QR code.
